This wines is derived from a complex combination of grape varietals: Friulano, Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio. Blanc des Rosis represents an elegant and all embracing wine, a historic blend made by the estate in 1986 born from the express desire to represent in a single wine the richness of the area of origin. The harvest is manual, the press soft and decantation in total absence of sulphur dioxide.

A wine obtained exclusively from Pinot Bianco grapes, a varietal of great excellence, particularly suited to hilly areas, which has adapted perfectly to Friuli and in particular to the area of Collio. The Pinot Bianco has been planted in a well ventilated area where the soil is mainly marl (clay and limestone); it produces small compact bunches and the grapes are round and golden in colour. The harvest is by hand, followed by a soft pressing and decantation in absenceof sulphur dioxide.

The wine is obtained exclusively from Sauvignon grapes, a varietal of great importance, cultivated in the areas of Sauternes and Bordeaux, from where the grapes have been imported to Friuli where they have found ideal conditions in both soil and climate. Cultivated in the hill areas, this varietal prefers fresh clay soil, it produces small bunches with grapes of medium size. The grapes are hand picked, pressed in a soft press after which there follows a brief period of decantation in total absence of sulphur dioxide.

Historic blend of the estate constituted of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the name Riva Rossa deriving from a part of the estate. The characteristics of french clay type soil are particularly suitable for these two red varietals. The grapes are picked by hand and they are destemmed and fermented separately.

Malvasia Istriana is one of the historic varietals of the hills of Friuli. It grows well in poor soil of marl composition with hot and sunny exposition where the grapes are left for a lengthy maturation. They are then picked by hand, pressed at low temperatures. This is followed by a static decantation in absence of sulphur dioxide and the vinification and ageing take place in stainless steel for 8 months.
