Made from pure Lacrima di Morro d'Alba grapes, harvested from the Velenosi vineyards in the municipality of San Marcello, in the province of Ancona. This territorial red wine is the result of a manual harvest, with careful selection of the best grapes. Only those that have reached perfect ripeness and are healthy are placed in small crates and taken to the cellar to be processed. After destemming, the grapes are placed in steel fermenters for the slow maceration phase on the skins. The process continues for about 20 days, with frequent daily pumping over. All of this is done in a low-oxygen environment to prevent oxidation and to preserve the characteristic aromas of this grape variety. Thus we discover a wine characterized by a pleasantly lively colour. The nose is intense and fruity, with notes of strawberries and maraschino cherries, and floral, with violets in clear evidence. In the mouth it is rich and pulpy, with a graceful tannicity and a good persistence.

Born in the heart of the Marche region, between the towns of Offida and Ascoli Piceno. We are talking about Rosso Piceno Superiore Brecciarolo from the Velenosi winery. A wine that, since its first vintage in 1984, has been able to conquer the taste of enthusiasts and experts alike. A true oenological jewel of the territory. The grapes that give life to Brecciarolo come from estate vineyards located 200-300 metres above sea level, where clay and limestone soils offer an ideal environment for growing Montepulciano and Sangiovese. The former, present at 70%, gives the wine structure, body and intensity, while the 30% Sangiovese gives elegance, finesse and a distinct aromatic freshness. Harvested by hand, in small crates, in mid-October. The grapes are then taken to the cellar where, after a stop in temperature-controlled cells, they ferment in steel for about 20 days. Ageing takes place in second-passage barriques, giving the wine complexity and softness. Ruby red with garnet highlights, the nose offers an explosion of aromas: pulpy red fruits, fresh violets, sweet spices and an intriguing mineral background. In the mouth, the wine is warm, full-bodied and harmonious, confirming the notes perceived on the nose. Rosso Piceno Superiore Brecciarolo is a wine well suited for special occasions and important dinners. Perfect with structured meat dishes, game or mature cheeses.

Villa Angela, Falerio DOC is produced with pure Pecorino grapes. A pleasantly aromatic grape variety produced in the Marche region is used to produce this precious Velenosi white is harvested in mid-September by hand, only when perfectly ripe. From the estate vineyards of cantina Velenosi in Castel di Lama comes this Marche IGT Rosato, a wine that surprises with its freshness, elegance and minerality. The vineyards are located at an average altitude of 200-300 metres above sea level. The soil, of medium consistency tending to clay, offers an ideal environment for the cultivation of red grapes indigenous to the Marche region. In this case, Velenosi's Rosé comes from a blend of indigenous Marche grapes, carefully selected for their freshness and aromaticity. The grapes are harvested in the first ten days of September and, once in the cellar, are destemmed and conveyed to the press. The environment is inerted with carbonic snow to prevent oxidation and preserve the primary aromas. This is followed by a short cryomaceration of about 6 hours to extract the right colour and aromas from the skins. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, starting only with first-pressing must. At the end of fermentation, the wine is matured for a few months on fine lees to increase its structure and complexity. Brilliant quartz pink in colour, on the nose an intense floral bouquet of rose and violet, enriched by notes of small red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry. The marked freshness and intense minerality complete the aromatic profile, making it an elegant and refined wine. Ideal as an aperitif or hors d'oeuvre, it tastefully accompanies pasta dishes with vegetables or fish, white meats or fresh cheeses. A perfect wine to enhance the flavours of Mediterranean cuisine and to accompany convivial moments with friends and family.

Made from 100% Passerina grapes from the company's vineyards in Ascoli Piceno, this Villa Angela, Marche IGT is a wonderful aperitif white. Presented here is a fine Offida DOCG Passerina, Cantina Velenosi's Villa Angela. It is made from grapes from the winery's charming vineyard in Monteprandone, in the Marche region, at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level. Here, the medium-textured, clayey soil lends character and structure to the wines. The indigenous Passerina grape is harvested strictly by hand in the early hours of the morning to preserve the freshness and complexity of the grapes. After destemming, the grapes undergo cryo-maceration at 0°C for about 8/10 hours, followed by soft crushing. Only the flower must, the best, is selected for vinification. The latter takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, thus preserving the freshness and elegance of the aromas. This is followed by a long period of maturation on the fine lees, which lasts until the end of February. During this period, the lees are stirred weekly, giving the wine a rich and complex structure. In the glass, it reveals a luminous yellow colour with golden hues. On the nose, floral notes of chamomile and balsamic herbs, accompanied by a fruitiness of crisp pome fruit, especially golden apple, and a citric touch of lime. The fresh and savoury taste, with good structure, is underlined by a long and persistent mineral finish that immediately invites one to take another sip.

100% Passerina, from the company's vineyards in Ascoli Piceno, sparkling and proposed in a very pleasant Brut version. Perfect as an aperitif, on the table it gives its best with delicate dishes, such as raw fish, or delicious dishes such as a rich mixed fry. Harvested by hand in boxes of about 20 kg, the Passerina grapes are picked at the best time for the production of the base sparkling wine. Then, after a brief phase of cryo-maceration of the grapes, we proceed with a soft pressing and a phase of fermentation in steel. Then, once the first fermentation is complete, the base wine is prepared for re-fermentation in autoclave, which continues for no less than 90 days. A white wine with great personality, produced with Verdicchio grapes from vineyards located in the original, and oldest, area of Castelli di Jesi. Harvesting takes place when the grapes are slightly overripe, in order to obtain a greater concentration of sugars and aromas. This is followed by a very soft pressing and a delicate phase of static decantation of the must to eliminate all particles in suspension. At that point we proceed with fermentation, strictly at controlled temperature, and with a phase of refinement in stainless steel, until the moment of bottling. The result is a wine characterized by a beautiful bright straw yellow colour, with obvious greenish hues. On the nose, sensations of sweet fruit and white flowers integrate well with a sweet note of acacia honey. In the mouth, however, it is characterized by a strong freshness and a perfect correspondence with the sweet notes perceived previously. A white with good structure and a long, pleasing finish. Try it with a succulent plate of linguine allo scoglio or, when the season allows, with a spaghetti with fresh sea urchins.

Convinced of the significant potential of this wine, which many foreign consumers have shown they appreciate, we have tried to make the best, respecting tradition and at the same time, interpreting it in a modern way. The result seems to us convincing: Rosso Piceno Superiore Brecciarolo is an important wine-bodied and able to last at best for many years, but also has good softness and drinkability due to the aging in oak barrels. The ideal temperature to drink it is around 18 ° C, perfumes are complex and varied, full and harmonious taste, to be wrapping up with age.
