Losito & Guarini's Sangue di Giuda comes from a blend of Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara and Nespolina grapes, all typical varieties of the area. The vinification is accurate and does not involve the use of wood for aging. The result is a wine characterized by a beautiful deep ruby colour, with purple reflections and covered by a compact and persistent foam. The nose is intense, persistent and richly fruity, with notes of raspberry jam, blueberry, blackberry and hints of violet. In the mouth it is sweet but fresh. A lovely velvety red that goes well with tarts or delicately herbed cheeses.
